Terms of service

Agreement

These Terms govern access to Signalbat's website, app, public demo, APIs, and related services. Signalbat is operated by Soon. By using Signalbat, you agree to these Terms. If you use Signalbat for an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization.

What Signalbat does

Signalbat is a marketing-intelligence service. It monitors AI answers, search/source evidence, public websites, competitor movement, and buyer/community language around a brand and category, then turns that information into product views such as Brand, Field, Market, Overview, and daily Readings.

Signalbat provides analysis and decision support. It does not guarantee rankings, mentions, traffic, revenue, model behavior, search placement, or business outcomes.

Accounts and teams

• You must provide accurate account, identity, organization, and billing information.
• You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping access credentials secure.
• Organization owners and admins control team membership, roles, invitations, billing access, and the brand context added to their account.
• We may suspend or restrict access if we believe an account is unsafe, unpaid, abusive, or violates these Terms.

Subscriptions and billing

Paid subscriptions are handled through Stripe. Prices, plan limits, renewal periods, trials, taxes, and cancellation controls may be shown in the checkout or account billing flow. Unless the checkout or a written agreement says otherwise, subscriptions renew automatically until canceled.

You authorize us and Stripe to charge applicable fees and taxes. If payment fails or a subscription is canceled, we may limit or end access to paid features. Fees are non-refundable except where required by law or expressly agreed in writing.

Customer data

You keep ownership of the brand, account, page, quote, competitor, and other content you or your organization submit to Signalbat. You grant us the rights needed to host, process, analyze, display, and otherwise use that content to provide and improve Signalbat.

You are responsible for making sure you have the rights and permissions needed to submit customer data to Signalbat. Do not submit sensitive personal data, regulated data, trade secrets, or confidential third-party data unless your agreement with us expressly permits it.

AI outputs and public evidence

Signalbat may use AI, search, and source-discovery providers to generate or refresh Readings, classifications, summaries, citations, and other intelligence. AI outputs can be incomplete, inaccurate, outdated, or inconsistent. You are responsible for reviewing outputs before relying on them or publishing work based on them.

Signalbat may crawl or analyze public pages and public source surfaces related to your brand, competitors, and category. You may not use Signalbat to harass, surveil individuals, violate third-party rights, or collect information in a way that is unlawful.

Acceptable use

• Do not use Signalbat for unlawful, harmful, deceptive, infringing, abusive, or security-compromising activity.
• Do not attempt to bypass authentication, rate limits, billing controls, provider budgets, robots restrictions, or access controls.
• Do not reverse engineer, scrape, resell, overload, or interfere with Signalbat except as expressly allowed by us.
• Do not upload malicious code or use Signalbat to generate spam, phishing, or misleading content.
• Do not use Signalbat outputs as the sole basis for legal, financial, medical, employment, credit, housing, or other high-stakes decisions.

Signalbat property

Signalbat, including the software, product design, workflows, templates, documentation, models of operation, trademarks, and generated product structure, belongs to us or our licensors. These Terms do not transfer ownership of Signalbat to you.

You may use Signalbat outputs for your internal business purposes, subject to these Terms, your plan, and any third-party rights in underlying sources.

Confidentiality

Each side may receive non-public information from the other. The receiving side will use reasonable care to protect confidential information and will use it only for the purpose of providing or using Signalbat, unless disclosure is required by law or the information becomes public without a breach.

Availability and changes

Signalbat is evolving. We may add, remove, limit, pause, or change features, providers, models, plans, and limits. We try to keep the service reliable, but we do not promise uninterrupted or error-free availability.

Termination

You may stop using Signalbat at any time and may cancel a paid subscription through the available billing flow or by contacting us. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms, fail to pay, create risk for the service, or if continuing the service becomes impractical.

After termination, we may retain information as described in the Privacy Policy, including records needed for billing, security, legal compliance, audit history, and service integrity.

Disclaimers

Signalbat is provided "as is" and "as available" to the fullest extent permitted by law. We disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and any warranties arising from course of dealing or usage of trade.

Liability limits

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Signalbat and its operator will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, goodwill, data, or business opportunities.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability for claims relating to Signalbat is limited to the amounts paid by you to Signalbat for the service in the three months before the event giving rise to the claim, or EUR 100 if you have not paid for the service.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms as Signalbat changes. If a change is material, we will take reasonable steps to notify users or account owners. Continued use after the updated Terms take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
